19 and Boy Crazy Prt 2

Outside of work I would hang out with Brian (the 'he' in the in prt 1) at his place, with some of his other friends there. We went to see Texas Chainsaw Massacre with one of his other friends on a weekend we were both off. I don’t think he enjoyed my company though. I thought the movie to be lame. The theater we were in had those seats where you can lift up the arms to cuddle with your date and I spent pretty much the entire movie lifting the arm, and putting it down, then lifting it back up, and putting it down. I think I pissed him off at one point because he pointed out that I was being particularly annoying.
Brian is also a practicing Pagan and I have always been curious about it so I asked him to teach me about it.  He was not comfortable with that I think because he would always change the subject if I brought it up. Another one of his friends worked with in a different department and I quickly became friends with him as well. Almost spending as much time with Shawn as I did Brian I got in trouble a lot of work for “not doing what I was supposed to.” I got my work done and then when I had a break I would go back to where Shawn worked and hang out with him and just talk about everything. I remember at one point Shawn had told me that if I was 20 years older or he was 20 years younger he would be compelled to ask me out, but knowing how I felt about Brian he figured I would say no regardless.  He was probably right. At that point in time I only had eyes for Brian. 91 days, exactly, after starting my new job, or should I say “place to meet boys” I was fired. I was young, stupid, naïve, and was more worried about my social life. I missed 3 days of work, showed up late, or snuck out early when my dad was on vacation.
Brian had invited me over to his house for a Halloween party he was throwing after I got fired, which made me happy because I could still see him. My friends were looking for something to do that night so I thought it would be fun to take them all with me. Brian’s party was the night of Halloween, but I already promised my friend’s Scott, Shari, and April that I would hang out with them and take their little sister Ashley out trick-or-treating. So we decided that we would take Ashley out then head to the party after wards.
When I got to Scotts dads house I noticed there was someone new there. Yet, the closer I got to this new guy the more he started to look familiar. His name was David and I worked when him when I was 17. I thought he was a complete man whore and ugly as hell, but he looked different after two years of not seeing him. Then I got this horrible, yet wonderful at the time, idea to take him with us to the party to see if taking another guy would make Brian jealous. The plan seemed great at the time, until it backfired on me.
I spent most of the time at the party with David and we ended up making out the majority of the time. After trick-or-treating and the few hours we were at the party David and I decided we wanted to be together. After the party we all left and went back to Scott and David’s dads’ house to hang out. I ended up spending the night, which was nothing new. Their dad loved me and considered me family. David and I spent pretty much until morning making out. After that night we were inseparable. We spent every single day and night together.
November 1, 2003 I spent the night with David at his own place, not even 24 hours after we became a couple. That night was when we conceived our child. I knew the very next morning when we woke up that I was pregnant. I woke up 5 minutes before him. I sat up in bed, feeling a little weird, then shouted “Oh SHIT!” Which woke David up, he looked at me asking what was wrong, but all I could get out was “oh shit, oh shit, oh shit.” I finally managed to get out the two words that began to change everything, “I’m pregnant.” His reaction was what got to me. All he said was “I know.”
