19 and Boy Crazy

I was 19 and all I cared about was boys. My dad had managed to get me a job where he worked and there were plenty of boys to ogle over. I worked the late shift so I went in around 5:30pm and got off work at 4:00am. I made good money too. Because I worked 45 hours a week all the money I made on Friday was over time. I couldn’t have been happier. Bring home around $500 every Friday and was broke by the following Tuesday. I went shopping and didn’t care that I wasn’t saving up any of my money. Little did I know that I would wish I had saved some of that money.
Before I even started working there my dad told me that there was a guy he worked with that he just knew I would like. My dad has always been able to tell what type of guys I would be attracted too; Kind of scary really. Since my dad and I would be working the same shift we rode together. On my first day on the job I rode to work with my dad not quite sure what to expect or if I would even like working in a machine shop. As my dad was leading me through the shop to the front offices this magnificent man walked past us. He was not too tall, my height really, 8 years older than me, muscular arms, a Chuck Norris type of stomach (no 6 pack but made of steel), tattoos covering his arms, sleeveless shirt, skinny jeans (before they became popular 10 years later),  combat boots, and a long black braid going down his back. I literally stopped in my tracks and followed him with my eyes for about 30 seconds. My dad snapped me out of it by saying “Yeah that’s the guy I told you about.” I just HAD to find out who he was.
It didn’t take long before I became friends with a girl who knew my mystery man. She told me his name, how old he was, what part of the shop he worked at, and that he was single. Then she spent two days trying to convince me to go talk to him. I may play like I have game, but I have none. I am shy, I stutter around guys I like, and I make an ass out of myself every time I open my mouth. She did, however, convince me to talk to him. She knew he spent his lunch breaks in the company gym and had already talked to him about me. She told me he was waiting for me in the gym to go talk to him. So scared out of my ever loving mind I went up to the gym, knocked on the door, and convinced myself that I was not going to die just by saying hi to him.
Another guy that was working out in the gym answered the door, since you had to have a key card to get in, and let me in. There he was, on the bench press bench, shirtless and sweaty. Just seconds away from passing out due to holding my breath he said “hi.” Oh my damn did the word ‘hi’ ever sound like music. I sat in that gym the entire 30 minute lunch period trying to not get caught staring at this amazing physique that was in front of me covered in sweat. I swear I got off just by looking at him. He would say something, then I would mutter my response, then he would ask a question, and I would try to find the answer. How he did not think I was a complete idiot I do not know. Right before we went back to work I got the nerve to ask him if he would want to hang out sometime after work and much to my surprise he said yes. I ran away quickly after that because my face got extremely hot and as red as a burnt lobster. I was happy to find out he thought me as cute and adorable. That made my ever loving day!
He and I ended up being really good friends who flirted in a seriously sexual way. We never really went on a date or anything like that. I would spend every break and lunch break with him while I worked at the shop. I would go over to the part he worked at and just hang out with him during those times. He worked with graphite so there was black dust everywhere. His favorite thing to do was put his hands in the graphite dust and put hand prints all over me; mostly on my boobs or butt. I had this green hoodie that I wore all the time and one lunch break I had taken it off because it was very hot and he took it upon himself to draw all over it (I still own it) with a dragon, my name, and a face on the hood. I treasured that thing. I was a horrible flirt, but it was easy with him. He made me feel so comfortable. When I was not spending my time physically with him we were texting. I can honestly say that I was head over heels in love with him, but I was always scared to pursue anything and was afraid he just looked at me like the annoying 19 year old I thought I was. Why would he, at 27, want to be with me?
